Most of the trees will be bare this time of year since they dropped their leaves earlier in the autumn season. This makes for a great time to look for nests. We should find songbird nests made of grass, mud and sticks; squirrel nests made of giant balls of leaves; and bald-faced hornet paper homes hanging from tree branches.
