National Trails Day Hike

It’s time to get out and enjoy a guided hike on National Trails Day. Litzenberg trails have wildflowers, such as spring beauty and bloodroot; fungus, such as turkey tail and crowned coral; and song birds, including downy woodpeckers, nuthatches, and bluebirds. We’ll turn over logs to see if we can find a red-backed salamander. The Backwoods Trail is 1.2 miles long and consists of up and down hills as well as some flat terrain. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear for the trails.
