Going on a Treasure Hunt

August 31 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free

Letterboxing is a treasure hunt style hobby, like geocaching, where participants read clues to find the location of hidden boxes scattered in public places across the country. Inside the boxes are a logbook, an ink pad, and a unique stamp to collect. Experience the hobby of letterboxing by searching for temporary letterboxes scattered around the shelter, McKinnis House, and Activity Barn. Participants who successfully collect each boxes’ stamp will receive a small prize and the opportunity to find the permanent letterbox in the park.
