The story of “The Pinecone Walk,” by Barbara Springfield will be told as you walk the paved portion of the Loop Trail to the pine tree area. We will look for things in nature that were in the book, such as deer tracks, funny shaped sticks, rocks, and birds. There are many treasures in nature that you can discover on a short hike when you stop, look, and listen.
