There will be a great fossil scavenger hunt along the trails at Oakwoods Nature Preserve. You will be looking for the pictures of fossils that will tell the story of where they came from, how old they are and how they might have been formed. Did you know that fungus is known to be the oldest and largest fossil ever found? There will be a display on the porch area of fossils and kids can search the play scape for fossils that have been hidden there as well.
