Planetarium: Lunar Occultation

December 6 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Occasionally as you look at the night sky, you might notice celestial bodies passing by each other. Lunar occultation occurs when the moon passes in front of another space object. Even a solar eclipse is considered an occultation. We will learn about the various occultations in the month of December and when to view them. Participants are required to sit on the floor. Ask about accommodations.
