Old Rock Day

FreeIt is Old Rock Day. Join us at the Richard S. “Doc” Phillips Discovery Center to learn about Earth’s incredible history and what can be found in fossils that lived millions of years ago. Some of the fossils on display will be 425-million-year-old coral, 350–450-million-year-old Fossil Nautiloid, Fern Fossil, Edeoasteroid fossil, Gryphaea Oyster, and many more. Do you have a fossil or fossil story to share? We will have a fossil screening area for children of all ages to enjoy and lots of books to look at.
