Traveling for pioneers proved to be a difficult task and was sometimes dangerous. Learn how trails were navigated in the 1840s, the tools used to make journeys easier, and the dangers that were present, such as illness and wild animals. Hike the trails for an interactive simulation of what traveling was like for pioneers.
