Nature’s Virtual Classroom: Great Horned Owl

This program new will promote learning from home via an HPD staff-produced video on the Hancock Park District’s YouTube Channel. In this class, children will learn about the great horned owl and all of its interesting adaptations. Even though we are in the midst of winter weather, great horned owls are getting ready to lay their eggs. Learn how and why great horned owls can have their babies even when it is snowing outside.
Recommended for children ages 6–10.
Free, registration is not required.
