Join us at Aeraland Recreation Area and learn about the history of the park. This quiet rural county park is 74.8 acres and has a picnic shelter, Highline and Upland trails to hike, Goose Lake to fish, fungi and more to see. There will be a variety of fungi on display at the shelter to help you identify what you might find as you head out on a self-guided hike along the trails. One of the flowers you might see is the Harbinger – of – Spring, as well as having a bird’s-eye view of the scenic South Branch Portage River from the footbridge.
