History How-To: Roasting Coffee Beans

This new program will utilize learning from home via the HPD YouTube Channel. After participants register, they will receive a password to access the video and a list of supplies needed. The video will provide information on subject matter and step-by-step instructions. Participants will also need to pick up green coffee beans for roasting at the HPD Administrative Office prior to the class. In this session, you’ll learn how to roast coffee beans at home on your stove top like the pioneers used to do, and about the history of how coffee was utilized in Northwest Ohio during the 1840s.
