Our friend Smokey Bear turns 80 years old today. To celebrate, watch a shadow puppet show inside the Discovery Center to learn about the story of Smokey Bear and about campfire safety. After the show, a fire will be safely built in the fireplace outside on the porch. You will have an opportunity to color a Smokey Bear coloring page and roast smores over the fire.
