First Signs of Spring Hike
March 27 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pmFree
Now that spring has arrived, there will be more daylight and temperatures will become warmer. During the hike, we will look and listen for signs of nature. The male American Goldfinch will start to grow in its canary yellow feathers, leaving its winter plumage behind. Frogs, such as the Spring Peeper and Western Chorus Frog are early singers looking for a mate. The trail may be wet and muddy, so wear the appropriate shoes.
