Discovery Story: Flowers

FreeThere are approximately 300,000 different plants in the world that produce a flower. See which ones live in your backyard and at Oakwoods Nature Preserve. Children will learn what flower color is most prevalent, what flowers help the plants do, and what animals visit them. Children will make flowers out of cupcake liners and other craft materials.

Recommended for ages 3-5 with an adult; other aged siblings are welcome to attend.
Free; registration is not required.
