Create a fun winter painting of a Cardinal by using your child’s hand as the bird. You and your child will paint on some tree branches and use your child’s hand to create the body of the Cardinal. We will then let the paint dry a little and pass the time by reading a story and looking at a real Cardinal. Then we will finish the paintings by painting the Cardinal’s beak, legs, wing, and eye and adding some snow.
