WHAT TO ENTER
Photographs may include scenery, buildings, animals, or people
Photographs will be judged by a panel of up to five (5) judges. All photographs will be judged on inspirational quality, the placement or arrangement of visual elements, and how well photographs convey beauty, essence and/or enjoyment. The decision of the Hancock Park District and judges is final on all matters related to the HPD Photography Contest.
WINNERS & PRIZES
Judges will evaluate all valid entries and pick the 12 best photographs. Entrants with the top 12 photographs will be notified within 10 days of November 20, 2021. The winning photographs will be featured in the 2022 Spring Program & Event Guide, and will be on display in the Outdoor Information Center at the HPD Administrative Office.
All qualified entries will appear on www.HancockParks.com and the HPD Facebook page where the public can vote for one People’s Choice winner from all qualified entries. The photograph that receives the most “Likes” on the HPD Facebook page between November 12, 2021 and December 20, 2021 will be named the People’s Choice winner. The HPD will notify the People’s Choice winner via the email address used to enter the photograph at the time of entry. A cash prize will be awarded.
