From September to June, homeschoolers will engage in hands-on projects and activities to learn about science and animals. . Students will make friends and gain confidence, utilize problem solving skills and independent thinking, and have fun. Newsletters will be sent out every month with pictures and information about what your student did during the class.
The sessions take place at a variety of Hancock County’s parks. The first session will take place at Oakwoods Nature Preserve’s Discovery Center. A schedule for where we will meet for future sessions will be passed out at the first session. The classes will be offered from 10–11:30 AM for ages 9–13 and 1–2:30 PM for ages 5–8. We will follow Findlay City Schools for weather delays and cancellations.
