Great Karg Well Historical Site

Liberty and River Street, Findlay

The Great Karg Well Historical Site is owned by the City of Findlay and managed by the Hancock Park District. The .5-acre park is the site of an historical monument honoring the Great Karg Well.

As a quiet wayside destination, the park provides undeveloped access to the river for fishing. From the canoeist and kayaker perspective, it serves as a portage that gives paddlers an opportunity to rest before continuing downstream. Parking is available.
