ReservoirFindlay Reservoir Area
South of Riverbend, via State Route 568, Marion Township Roads 208 & 207

History: Two up-ground reservoirs covering over 1000 acres and located near Riverbend. The reservoirs combine for a valuable resource, providing both high priority water supplies and multiple-use recreational opportunities for the general public. Owned by the City of Findlay, the HPD and City have formed a cooperative effort to protect the resource and offer facilities for year around activities. Reservoir #1 was built in 1950 and Reservoir #2 was constructed in 1968 as the first up ground reservoir completed under the Northwest Ohio Water Development Plan. Depths range from 16 – 33 feet and share a common dike between them.
