Seasonal Positions including waterfront manager, waterfront aides, and park laborers. Hourly pay rates range from $8.25 to $9.00. Work begins in May. A bonus of $.25/hr will be paid at the end of the season for every hour worked as agreed upon. Natural Resources Manager: This full-time position is responsible for managing the Natural Resource Division within the Park Operations Department, developing and implementing a Natural Resource Management Plan, managing and maintaining designated natural areas, managing lakes for recreational fishing, and supervising assigned personnel. This position pays $24,960.00 based on 40 hours a week at $12.00 an hour. Benefits include health, dental, and life insurance, paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave, one paid personal day each year after six months of employment, and pension plan through the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS).
Park Maintenance Technician (2 positions available): These part-time positions are responsible for maintaining grounds, facilities, buildings, vehicles, and equipment; planning, recommending, and implementing park improvement projects, and working independently or with full-time, part-time, and seasonal park operations staff and volunteers. Position #1 pays $7,200.00 based on a maximum of 800 hours a year at $9.00 an hour. Position #2 pays $10,800.00 based on a maximum of 1,200 hours a year at $9.00 an hour. Benefits include one paid personal day each year after six months of employment and a pension plan through the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS).
